We invite you to join our Fall Session Community Group Bible Study which begins Tuesday, September 17 and ends Tuesday, November 12. We seek to strengthen our love of Christ and hope in Him, increase our knowledge of the Bible and move from knowing who Jesus is to living out our faith. Meeting together allows us to meet new friends and deepen existing relationships and continue to be a part of something exciting and encouraging in our everyday lives.

We will be studying God’s Goodness for the Chosen, a Bible Study and companion guide to Season 4 of The Chosen television series. Using the series as a basis, we will take a deep look at the scriptures that influenced previous seasons, script excerpts, quotes, show illustrations and discussion questions.

About Season 4: We see it – if we’re looking: the Bible promises that God brings good things out of bad for the sake of His people and His glory. Truth be told, when we experience suffering we have a difficult time believing it. The fourth season of The Chosen picks up by revealing how God uses suffering to bring about good in the lives of those He loves. Just as it was for the earlier followers of Jesus, suffering is a painful reality of life. But the hard things we experience are always eclipsed by the bigger things God is doing in and through them. This means even in our suffering we can know and hold fast to how radically good God is.

Come join us each week as we spend time watching the videos in class, discussing the week’s lesson and breaking into smaller groups for in-depth discussions. This study brings both the Old and New Testaments to life in a conversational way and works in tandem with each show episode. Experience a deeper look at God’s character, power and promises and discover what it means to belong to and be blessed by God. We will be challenged to move from knowing who Jesus is to living out our faith by going the way of the Chosen.
