First time parents 35+

Making friends as adults is hard. It’s even harder when you add in an oddity, like having kids later in life than most. You either hang out with couples much younger than you because your kids are the same age, or you hang out with friends your age, but their kids are teenagers, and they’re in a very different stage of parenting. Both have great value, but sometimes you want a safe space with friends who are right there with you, going through the same struggles and joys and journeys.

We, Josh and Steph, are new to Atlanta and are struggling to find others in this same camp. We imagine there are others out there who would also enjoy meeting couples/families that they can relate to in this way. Whether you were focused on your career, you had trouble conceiving, or you didn’t find the right person to start a family with until much later in life, this is a judgment-free zone. It’s also a fun zone. Just because we’re older doesn’t mean we don’t know how to throw our babies in the air, run through sprinklers, or live it up at an amusement park. Join us for backyard cookouts, zoo outings; park hangs, maybe a multi-family camping trip... you name it! I’m sure we’ll get more creative with the activities as time goes on, but the important part is hanging out with other super cool, incredibly wise, and awesomely life-experienced parents …and their adorable mini(s).
