This week, we kick off the series by looking at one of the most hauntingly beautiful Christmas Carols we sing this time of year: “O Come O Come Emmanuel.” And in this, we will see that, throughout Scripture, and throughout our lives, the Lord is near and known, He is for and with us, and he evens dwells within and among us. So in this difficult year, we can take hope and confidence in the fact that the Lord is near.
