Welcome Home

When you visit North Metro Church for the first time, we don’t want you worrying about what to wear, parking, or how to get around our campus. Here you'll find some helpful information when planning your visit.

Respectfully Casual

What To Wear

While we don’t have a dress code, here are some helpful guides of a typical Sunday at NMC:

Guys - you’ll fit right in with jeans and a collared shirt, or if you’re more comfortable in a pair of khakis and a button up, that works too!

Ladies - Anything from jeans and a sweater to a casual dress will be perfect for a Sunday service.

What to Expect At

A Typical Sunday Service

Our Sunday services are designed around making it as easy as possible for you to come and worship God together and learn about being a faithful follower of Jesus.

20 Minutes Before Service Starts

Arrive at the church.

Be sure to arrive at North Metro Church a little early to give yourself enough time to park and find a seat in one of our different seating environments.

Our guest services team will be ready to welcome you and assist in any way they can! Look for one of our team members in a grey shirt!

15 minutes before service starts

Check in your children and students

If it’s your first time with us, our NMC Kids or NMC Students teams will need a little information from you to ensure we have all the details we need to make your child’s experience positive. You can fill out the information before you visit by using the form below.

Worship and welcome

Worship is a time when we step back from our everyday routines and focus on who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We start most services with worship through singing.

Sermon series message

Learn through practical teaching

Every week at NMC is an opportunity to learn something new. Our pastors dive into teachings from the Bible and how to apply them to our everyday lives, grouping lessons into themed series.

A fun, safe, & loving environment

NMC Kids

We provide a safe, fun, and relevant environment for your child that reflects the love of God while helping them find and follow Jesus.

Parent/Child Secure ID Tags
We use a 4-digit paging system, with each number unique to your family. This helps us ensure a safe pick-up process, and allows us to notify you in the event that your child needs you.

Staff & Volunteer Background Checks
All of our staff and volunteers who are 18 years or older participate in an annual criminal and sex-offender background check. We have strict diaper changing and restroom policies to keep NMC Kids a safe place.

Allergy/Medical Awareness
We alert all of our volunteers to any allergy or medical concerns your child may possess. We update this information on a regularly scheduled basis.

Special Needs
During our 11:00am service at our Barrett Campus, we have a buddy system for children in preschool and elementary who have special needs. This allows children to fully access our classrooms and large group environments. An alternative environment is available if needed.

Middle School Mornings

6-8th grade students in our NMC Students ministry are invited to join us for a Bible Study upstairs in the Student Head Quarters room during the 9:15am and 11:00am services at Barrett Campus. In addition to the morning Bible study, all students 6-12th grade are encouraged to join NMC Students on Sunday nights at 6:30pm on the Barrett Campus. Students can expect large group games, a time of worship through singing, a message, and small groups.
